    ISS is offering an exciting, creative, team-oriented sales environment for someone looking to advance their career in financial services and ESG (Environmental, Social and, Responsible Investing) sales. We are immediately seeking a B2B Sales Representative to market our suite of ESG, climate change, and financial research tools under the ISS ESG product line. This position will be based out of our Paris office and will cover Switzerland, Spain, Italy and France.


    Product Sales Executives are expected to communicate with various contacts within the buy side, with a focus on reaching and developing business with Investment and ESG Professionals including Directors of Research, Chief Information Officers, Portfolio Managers, ESG and Financial Analysts. This role will be focused on new ESG sales, prospecting for new customer relationships and opportunities across all segments of our Institutional client base (Investment Managers, Asset Owners etc.), reaching new prospective clients and expanding our relationships and business to new users within existing client accounts. The ISS ESG business represents a key area of growth for the company and this person is expected to be a key contributor and team player.


    The sales person will be responsible for all stages of the sales life cycle, from generating leads and prospecting through negotiating pricing and closing of deals. The sales person will need to collaborate with sales colleagues regularly to coordinate efforts among clients and territories. The position is part of a global dedicated ESG sales team with strong interaction among the different team members across different countries and cultures.

    • Become a recognized expert on ESG topics and the ISS ESG product suite.
    • Drive sales specific to our ISS ESG business and develop relationships with end users and decision makers.
    • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
    • Analyze a large territory and identify key data prospecting opportunities.
    • Communicate across the sales team when selling within defined territories or when originating new business which may present opportunities for additional ISS product sales.
    • Assist in maintaining effective and intelligent marketing collateral and sales content specific to ISS ESG.
    • Communication of market developments and changes in competitive landscape.
    • Understanding of larger ISS product suite and capabilities to recognize cross-selling opportunities and demonstrate ISS product knowledge.


    • Good knowledge of sustainability topics and responsible investment.
    • Experience selling ESG products and services a strong plus.
    • Interest in financial markets and following daily events/news.
    • A demonstrated track record of successful sales.
    • Innovative, creative approach to selling and fearless attitude calling on decision makers.
    • Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
    • Outstanding writing, communication and presentation skills.
    • Languages: Fluent English and French. One additional language (Spanish / Italian) would be a plus.
    • Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years’ work experience, financial services industry a plus.
    • Self-starter who can work independently across a team with the ability to multi task at a high level.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new content, sales strategies, and learn new products and services.
    • Willingness to travel.
    • Absolute personal and business integrity.
