  • Overview

    ISS QualityScore products are maintained on a regular basis to reflect the evolving governance practices of issuers. A QualityScore Events analyst searches and monitors information for any possible updates falling under 4 pillars (Board, Audit, Shareholder Rights, Compensation) using prescribed methods, techniques and sources.


    • Extract, collect and screen quarterly report of Japanese companies in the QS universe and route the said information source to our Japanese counterparts


    • Ensure timely update of QS pillars in relation to Audit, Board and Shareholders in accordance with established production schedules.


    • Assist General Meeting Services in reviewing, translating, profiling, encoding and quality checking Japanese meeting results and updating appropriate applications


    • Assist JVAS team in processing ballots during peak season


    • Maintain records on performance metrics (timeliness, efficiency, quality).


    • Participate in review the overall science of our services in relation to Japanese products such as enhancements, operational efficiencies including client engagement.



    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Legal Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Social Sciences, Communication or any equivalent/related course;


    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Japanese and English


    • Knowledge and experience using MS Office


    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with clear attention to detail


    • Good judgment in assessing information sources and understanding the downstream effects of data decisions on final product output


    • Highly motivated, independent, results-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of ownership


    • Ability to work under tight deadlines


    • Experience in data collection and business research would be an advantage
