Position Overview

ISS-Ethix Climate Solutions is immediately seeking a Junior Analyst intern to join its Stockholm-based team for a 6 month paid internship from early April until September 2018. Successful candidates will have a data or advisory background and exhibit a passion for the responsible investment business with a focus on climate change. They should have a collaborative approach to work and proven abilities to proactively contribute to problem solving and to work with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidates will contribute to the implementation of mandates and participate in product development for both our data and advisory services. This includes interactions with colleagues and clients from around the globe and getting involved in several aspects of operations.

  • Assist in the implementation of advisory mandates of ISS-Ethix Climate Solutions
  • Assist in the product development of ISS-Ethix Climate Solutions
  • Conduct greenhouse gas emissions analysis of investment portfolios
  • Assist in managing the overall accuracy and quality of data for in-house databases
  • Support colleagues and clients on advisory offerings of ISS-Ethix Climate Solutions including support on day to day communications, operations and report writing


  • Advanced university degree ideally in environmental science, engineering, economics or finance – experience (professional or academic) in financial topics is a bonus
  • Demonstrated interest in investment carbon footprinting, GHG-accounting, carbon footprinting or Life Cycle Analysis
  • Excellent oral and written command of English (Swedish, French or German is a bonus)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to act as a team member in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including a very good command of Excel
