Overview

DIT (Data Interpretation Team) is a permanent, cross-functional team designed to enable quick, authoritative resolution of nuanced data collection issues.

Responsibilities

The Compensation DIT lead responsibilities include:

 

  • Resolving nuanced data collection issues within established SLAs
  • Establishing a knowledge base of data interpretation resolutions to promote learning, minimize escalations, and enable quick closure of issues
  • Performing analyses of all data interpretation issues and develop recommendations for:
    1. Data point re-engineering
    2. Data methodology streamlining / simplification
    3. Additional training
    4. Process / workflow enhancements

Qualifications

The Compensation DIT lead core competencies include:

 

  • Having a broad understanding of corporate governance issues.
  • Having a deep understanding of proxy disclosures, specifically with respect to compensation. These include the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A), equity plan documents, employment agreements, severance and change-in-control agreements, Form 4s, as well as equity compensation disclosures in annual reports.
  • Having strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Having a good understanding of equity award valuation principles, techniques, and accounting.
  • Having a good understanding of compensation: (1) administration and design, (2) taxation, (3) regulations, and (4) accounting.
  • Basic analytical ability and financial understanding of investment issue
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in investment analysis and/or financial research, or other business related area
